A bit late in this news, Kodansya has released vol.1 of Galaxy Force manga and can be found in bookstores now. At the end of the book, there is also an additional comical short strip about the artist's experience on how he came to "tackle" this job. Great Art, reasonably sized down story telling, highly recommended, at US$4.5 only.

New magazines are released today, Hyper Hobby, TV Magazine and TV-Boy were out and contained new info on Transformers. You can still order your copy from here.

Hyper Hobby:
1. More pictures on TRU Exclusive Dark LigerJack, who will be releasing late Aug. A small picture of the anime version of Liger Megatron was also shown.
2. Pictures of Primus are also revealed, the anime design at least. Some little bit of the story was also revealed, [spoiler] After fighting off the powerup Super Starscream, Galaxy Convoy, using the power of the Force Chip, "re-formatted" and destroyed Master Megatron. As the Autobots thought they achieved victory at last, their planet of Cybertron started to transform. As it turns out, the source of power of Force Chip comes from the god of creation, Primus, who is the planet of Cybertron, now transformed into a planet sized transformer. What is more surprise is the return of Master Megatron, who was thought destroyed before and ArmBullet, a powerup form of Landbullet by an unknown power, which could also be responsible for the creation of Dark LigerJack. [spoiler]
3. Transformer EZ Collection will be releasing in late Aug with 3 selection as reported before, Galaxy Convoy, Master Megatron and Starscream. Get these from here and also the exclusive ones from Dengeki Hobby magazine (Master Galvatron) and GC-23 Megalo Convoy (Galaxy Convoy Metallic color ver.) to complete your EZ series collection.

TV Magazine:
1. Showing off details of Sonic Convoy and his power attacks, like Sonic Double Impact, Million Blast and Galaxy Caliber.
2. Even more details on upcoming episodes are revealed. [Spoiler] it seems to suggerst Dark LigerJack is not the original LigerJack who "turned to the Dark side" but an evil doppelganger that was created by combining Master Megatron's evil aura with LigerJack's uncertainty feelings.[spoiler]
3. ArmBullet: powerup of Landbullet after exposing to Master Megatron's evil aura, now with thicker armour, he can ram through any obstacle.
4. As reported previously in K-Fes, the next issue will feature a mail in order for TV Magazine exclusive Dark Nitro Convoy.

"The Transformers Binaltech & TF Collection Complete Guide" by Aspects is now in stores. Containing over 700 images, the book contained all the BT characters up to BT-12 Overdrive, vehicle introduction, initial sketches, concept work and interviews of car companies representative, designers. Another section of the book is devoted to the Transformers Reissues, showing all the reissues, e-Hobby exclusives and lucky draw prizes. While there are no coverage of the background story of Binaltech nor the detail description of the BT characters, some of the image did show some interesting info, like Ford Mustang initial bot was Windcharger. The book also allow the buyer to enter a lucky draw for a "famous" Alternator Decepticharge, which at this time has no set date to release in Japan yet.
A pleasant surprise was actually in the inner cover of the book, well hidden by the dust covers, concept work of Bumblebee and Cliffjumper, although their vehicle mode was not revealed.
We have provided some sample pages as follows, and will take orders for those interested (US$30).
Binaltech Meister Intro
Binaltech Ravage gallery
Concept work 1: early concepts
Concept work 2: comparison with G1 counterparts (yep, that is Sunstreaker)
Concept work 3: design work (Mustang GT Grimlock head and Mustang GT Windcharger)
