The Transformers: Armada series was aired and released in the US first before it was released in Japan under the title, Transformers: Micron Densetsu (Micron Legend). The toyline and animated series are the same with minor changes in the names of some characters and minor color differences in some of the toys. Japan released more versions of the Minicons repaint through the Soundtrack CD, DVD and departmental stores as exclusives.
